Is this something with old people only??
Who on earth in the right mind tries to talk to someone who is clearly talking to someone ELSE on the phone?
This happens all the time with my parents. Maybe it’s a parents thing…
Their behavior clearly indicates to me that they disrespect me and the person I am talking to. Why else would they think their random “conversation” that they are trying to get me into is more important than what I have to say on the phone.

I hope you understand that I replied you because I respect you as an elder. Not because I don’t give a fuck to the one I am on a phone call with - like you felt so.
